Physical Gift Cards

REDEEMING GIFT CARDS & VOUCHERS

You can use your gift cards or gift vouchers to purchase any available items on our online store. To use your gift card or voucher, enter the card/voucher number and the expiry date, then press the Apply Gift Card button. For information on where to find the card/voucher number and expiry date, go to the payment section.

Note: Do not discard your Gift Cards until your order has been completed and received.

BULK ORDERS

GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE

1. These Terms and Conditions apply to use of the Dymocks Gift Card which has been issued by Dymocks Franchise Systems (NSW) Pty Limited (“Dymocks”).

2. Gift Cards can only be redeemed at participating Dymocks Stores or online at www.dymocks.com.au

4. Gift Cards issued before 31 March 2018 are valid for use for 12 months from the date of issue. Gift Cards issued after this date will have a 3 year validity. It is the cardholder’s responsibility to use the full value within the validity period. Any unused amount after the expiry date of this card will not be refunded or credited.

5. Purchases exceeding the Gift Card’s available balance require the difference to be paid by other methods.

6. This Gift Card is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or to purchase further gift cards from Dymocks.

7. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or returned. Dymocks accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or destruction of this Gift Card.

8. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded. No further value may be added to it.

9. The customer is liable for all transactions on the Gift Card except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by Dymocks or any of its employees.

10. No booklover points are earned on the purchase of Gift Cards but they are earned on redemption of Gift Cards.

11. Purchase or use of this Gift Card constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

12. Dymocks reserves the right to change any term contained in these Terms and Conditions where the change is required:

• to add or remove participating stores at which the Gift Card may be redeemed, or the goods and/or services which may be purchased using the Gift Card; 
• to comply with all relevant laws, acts, ordinances, rules, regulations, other delegated legislation, codes and the requirements and directions of any relevant Commonwealth, State or Local Government Departments, bodies and public authorities, in force from time to time;
• for reasonable operational, administrative, compliance or corporate governance reasons, or to prevent the occurrence of fraud or other unlawful, unethical or unacceptable conduct; or
• where Dymocks, acting reasonably, considers that it will not cause detriment to the customer.

13. These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from your purchase or use of a Gift Card are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
